Análise das mulheres casadas com filhos: como a maternidade interfere no desenvolvimento acadêmico e profissional feminino do Nordeste do Brasil. Orientador: Moisés Alberto Calle Aguirre. 2025. 59 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Ciências Atuariais) - Departamento de Demografia e Ciências Atuariais, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/61580The following research analyzed data from the 2010 IBGE Census, referring to 506,283 married women in the Northeast of Brazil, of which 87.7% with children and 12.3% without children, considering "household situation", "level of education", "income" and "race or color" as variables, based on the chi-square analysis (x²). It was found that the majority of married women have children and have an urban home with 66.9% of the frequencies and in rural with 33.1%, they face greater educational and economic difficulties, with 47.1% belonging to the group "without education or with incomplete primary education" and 48.6% not having their own income. In contrast, women without children have higher levels of education, starting from "complete primary and incomplete secondary education", establishing that motherhood is a factor that limits female academic and professional progress in the Northeast of Brazil. The research results confirm that having children has a significant impact on the academic and professional development of married women, by limiting their opportunities for academic growth and consequently better earnings.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/MaternidadeMercado de trabalho femininoDesigualdade de gêneroAnálise qui-quadrado (x²)Mulheres casadas com filhosMaternityFemale labor marketGender inequalityChi-square analysis (x²)Married women with childrenAnálise das mulheres casadas com filhos: como a maternidade interfere no desenvolvimento acadêmico e profissional feminino do Nordeste do BrasilAnalysis of married women with children: how maternity interferes with female academic and professional development in Northeast BrazilbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA
