Contribuição para o desenvolvimento de um esclerômetro pendular instrumentado para avaliação de lubrirrefrigerantes. 2022. 73f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia Mecânica) - Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/48915Pendular sclerometry is a scratching technique developed to measure variables such as specific energy, dynamic hardness and forces developed during the test. Such variables can be related to some properties of the scratched material, such as abrasion resistance and hardness. The technique can also be used to simulate the chip formation in machining processes and to evaluate the performance of lubricoolants. This work aimed to contribute for the development of an instrumented single-pass pendulum sclerometer to study the tribological behavior of materials under different lubrication and cooling conditions. The main objective of the project is to develop an equipment able to provide the specific energy, dynamic hardness, normal and tangential components of the force involved in the scratching test and the coefficient of friction. For this purpose, changes are being made based on a previous structure which is being instrumented using the MyDAQ platform supported by the LabView software, both from the National Instruments. The modifications performed were sufficient to ensure the proper assembly and proper functioning of the equipment and the data acquisition system was able to perform the acquisition, amplification and conversion of the signals, in addition to displaying them and determining the variables of interest.Esclerômetro pendular de passe únicoForça de riscamentoEnergia específica de riscamentoDureza dinâmicaCoeficiente de atritoSingle-pass pendulum sclerometryScratching forceSpecific energyDynamic hardnessCoefficient of frictionContribuição para o desenvolvimento de um esclerômetro pendular instrumentado para avaliação de lubrirrefrigerantesContribution for the development of a single-pass pendulum sclerometer device for lubricoolants evaluationbachelorThesisCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS
