Fuels derived from biomass and other renewable sources, compared to fossil fuels, have some advantages; they do not contribute to the greenhouse effect, reduce the production of industrial waste and contribute to income decentralization. Petroleum and its derivatives have contributed to the development of most countries' economies. In Brazil, diesel oil has a direct relationship with the Brazilian Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Aiming to reduce the emission of pollutants from this derivative, the Brazilian government has adopted a policy of adding biodiesel to diesel oil, which is currently 13% in volume. Therefore, the work was able to evaluate the oxidative stability of the blends of mineral oil / vegetable oil with the following concentrations: 5%, 10%, 20% and 30%. This test being carried out by Rancimat, model 843 from the manufacturer Metrohm, according to standard EN 15751. It was observed that the oxidation of vegetable oil added to diesel oil can cause fuel filters to clog and damage the injector nozzle through the increase of viscosity and formation of lees.
