However, studies show a significant loss of donated human milk due to existing nonconformities, such as dirt, high acidity, non-compliant packaging and contamination by total coliforms. Therefore, strategies are needed to improve the quality of donated human milk. Objective: To build and validate a digital educational booklet for donors of a human milk bank. Methodology: This is a methodological study, with a quantitative approach, based on Pasquali's Psychometric model, according to the following steps: construction of the instrument based on documentary research, opinion of judges or experts in the subject and application of statistical tests. It should be added that, in compliance with the ethical principles established by Resolution No. 466, of December 12, 2012, of the National Health Council (CNS) of the Ministry of Health, data collection with experts only occurred after approval by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, with Opinion No. 7,368,721, under CAAE No. 85718824.0.0000.5537, on February 8, 2025. Results: This study resulted in the construction and validation of a digital educational booklet for donors of a human milk bank. This is a technical-technological product, of the didactic/instructional material type, which corresponds to the production of resources that facilitate learning, which will contribute with guidelines on the safe collection of human milk for donors and health professionals. The material will have a direct impact on the quality of the milk received at the HMBs. The booklet was constructed with theoretical support from documentary analysis. After structuring the contents and constructing the educational booklet, the content validation process began. Two rounds of validation were carried out, called Delphi I and II, and seven judges participated. The results of Delphi I demonstrated that all the evaluated criteria presented CVC ≥ 0.92, while in the Delphi II round, the results showed CVC ≥ 0.89. The overall CVC of the booklet was 0.96, demonstrating the adequacy of the language, organization, content and structure of the proposed material. Discussion: This study developed and validated a digital educational booklet for donors of a human milk bank, with the aim of providing guidance on how to safely collect milk to obtain better use in the pasteurization process. Therefore, the booklet validated in this study is a tool that can contribute not only to reducing losses in the pasteurization process, but also to strengthening the autonomy and shared responsibility of donors. Conclusion: Considering the benefits of breast milk in the short and long term, especially in the neonatal ICU, it is expected that the booklet will be an instrument that reduces losses of donated human milk, increasing stocks in milk banks and availability for newborns who need it, reducing hospitalization time and hospital costs.pt-BRAcesso AbertoBanco de leite humanoControle de qualidadeDoadoraCartilha educativa digital para doadoras de um banco de leite humanomasterThesisCIENCIAS DA SAUDE
