However, the school as a transforming agent of society, has undergone transformations through pedagogical methods to streamline and systematize the processes of teaching and learning, can't follow the advances of digital technologies that help the teaching and the production of knowledge in the classroom. Research finds that the use of digital resources, in line with the school curriculum, contributes to the teaching and learning process, problem solving and collaboration among students, stimulating various skills considered important for the 21st century. In this context, Computational Thinking is inserted, which is derived from the fundamentals of Computer Science and has been deployed in many schools in the world, showing itself as a complementary resource to the classroom to make the process of acquiring skills for more stimulating and effective problem solving. This research conducts a study to investigate how much Computational Thinking impacts the process of learning mathematics-related skills in elementary school, since we need to find alternatives to help improve unsatisfactory results of Brazilian students in this discipline.
