Análise da postura, movimento e força muscular da coluna vertebral em indivíduos assintomáticos com e sem discinese escapular. 2019. 64f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Fisioterapia) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/27813Introduction: Postural aspects and other variables of the spine are related to the scapula dynamics. However, the relationships are not clear in individuals without complaints of pain in the shoulder or spine. Objective: to evaluate the flexibility, muscle flexibility, range of motion and strength of the cervical and thoracolumbar spine musculature in asymptomatic individuals with and without scapular dyskinesis. Methods: Fifty-two individuals were divided into two groups: scapular free (age 22.95 ± 2.86) and scapular dyskinesis (age 22.06 ± 2.73). A scapular dyskinesis was evaluated through the Scapular Dyskinesis Test, a posture of the upper quadrant of the body through biophotogrammetry, such as flexion, extension, lateral flexion of the cervical and thoracolumbar spine and cervical spine rotation were evaluated with a digital inclinometer, and maximal strength of the flexor, extensor and lateral flexor cervical and thoracolumbar muscles with a manual dynamometer. For all variables, a comparison between the groups was used through analysis of variance (ANOVA one way), considering p≤0.05. Results: There was no difference (p> 0.05) between the groups for any of the variables. Conclusion: The aspects of posture, mobility and muscular strength of the spine do not differ between individuals with or without scapular dyskinesis.
