Method: This is an experience report as a scientific initiation scholarship holder offered by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, which is based on research that contributes to the implementation of the quality of life program using Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (PICS), in a government institution, promoting the health of workers. Result: The approach taken with workers in this study highlighted the essential role of PICS in promoting well-being, addressing physical, mental and social aspects. Furthermore, their holistic relevance for quality of life is highlighted, as they provide relief from symptoms and improved worker health, making the work environment more inclusive and favorable to health. It should also be added that the promotion of a more efficient and harmonious environment was observed, resulting in greater performance and satisfaction at work and reducing absences. All of this certainly occurred due to improvements in the general health and well-being of employees, contributing to a more stable and reliable team. Final considerations: It is concluded that the insertion of PICS can bring significant benefits to the work environment and the quality of life of employees.
