Methodology: This is a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach developed with adult women in the city of Santa Cruz, Rio Grande do Norte. For data collection, a form containing 25 questions was used, with the intention of assessing the degree of food neophobia, using the Food Neophobia Scale (ANS) of the pregnant women 4 interviewed, as well as collecting information related to aspects of eating behavior and sociodemographic characterization. Findings: The participation of 18 pregnant women, all residents of the municipality, aged between 20 and 42 years, was obtained. Regarding the degree of food neophobia, according to the ENA: 5 (27.78%) were considered neophobic, 10 (55.56%) were considered neutral and 3 (16.67%) were considered neophilic. Conclusion: In view of the data analyzed, it can be seen that food neophobia is a behavior present in pregnant women in the city of Santa Cruz - RN.
