Monografia (graduação) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Centro de Ciências Humanas, Letras e Artes, Bacharelado em Filosofia, Natal, RN, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/54646This monograph addresses the conceptions of love in Plato's Banquet and seeks to analyze its application in two poems from the book Amar se aprende amando, by Carlos Drummond de Andrade. In this task, the analytical-interpretative method is used to understand both the concept of love in the discourses of the dialogue Banquet and the understanding of the lyrical self in the poems Amor and Epitalâmio. In short, the monographic text consists of the exercise of the philosophical analysis of Drummond's poems in the light of the discourses on love, in the work Banquet, based on the comparison of the concept of love, in the works of the Greek philosopher and the Brazilian poet.
