Efeito do laser de baixa intensidade no epitélio seminífero: uma revisão sistemática. 2019. 35f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Biomedicina) - Centro de Biociências, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/43208Lasertherapy has been shown to be efficient in the treatment of various tissue damages, but little is known about the influence of its application on the testis. The aim of this study was to review the scientific literature about studies that evaluated the effect of the low intensity laser in the seminiferous epithelium. The research was carried out in PubMed/Medline, Scopus, Web of Science and LILACS databases. From the 354 references found in the initial search, five fit the review criteria and were selected for the review. In general, studies have shown that laser therapy promoted a positive effect on the germ cell population, but there was considerable variation in the laser parameters, as well as in the experimental models and tissue analysis methodologies. Thus, it is concluded that there is a need for further studies in this area, aiming to determine the biostimulatory parameters of the laser therapy in the testis, in order to justify its possible use in the recovery of the human seminiferous epithelium, which may represent a clinical perspective in the treatment of some male reproductive dysfunctions.laserterapiatestículoespermatogêneseEfeito do laser de baixa intensidade no epitélio seminífero: uma revisão sistemáticabachelorThesis
