Análise de diferentes fórmulas de predição para distância percorrida no TC6M em pacientes com Hipertensão Pulmonar. 2022. 34f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Fisioterapia), Departamento de Fisioterapia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/50525Introduction: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is an irregularity in the circulatory system, its main characteristic being an increase in systolic and diastolic pulmonary arterial pressure greater than 20 mmHg and 15 mmHg respectively. The 6-minute walk test (6MWT) is a submaximal assessment performed to assess the cardiorespiratory status of patients, and prediction formulas are used as an estimate to determine the distance walked. Objective: The present study aims at analyzing Iwana, Dourado and Brito's formulas used as prediction formulas for 6MWT. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional observational analytical study, which analyzed the Iwana, Dourado and Brito formulas prediction results, compared to those found in the collected sample, investigating the variation between total distance walked (DTP) and predicted distance (DP). Results: A total of 29 tests were evaluated, consisting of 26 female and 3 male subjects. The mean predicted distance measurements found were 316.7m(±11.9) for PH patient, 615.1 (±65.45) for Dourado, 545.8(±31.27) for Iwana and 568.4(± 50.24) for Brito. The analysis of the variations were done by ANOVA test resulting in a p<0.05. Conclusion: The ANOVA variance analysis did not find a superiority between the formulas (p<0.05), denoting an inexistence of a superior formula, therefore, all can be used as predictors for patients with PH.Attribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Fórmulas de prediçãoHipertensão pulmonarTeste de caminhadaAnálise de diferentes fórmulas de predição para distância percorrida no TC6M em pacientes com Hipertensão PulmonarAnalysis of different prediction formulas for 6MWT distance in patients with pulmonary hypertensionbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FISIOTERAPIA E TERAPIA OCUPACIONAL
