The village, which has an urban layout that refers a lot to the old mission villages, remaining houses from the 18th century and centenary trees, is an important historical site for the narrative of indigenous occupation in the state of Pernambuco. However, despite all this historical burden, the village suffers from economic and social stagnation: according to the Database of the State of Pernambuco (2010), the proportion of people in poverty in the region is almost 5x greater than the capital of Pernambuco. state. This fragile socioeconomic situation, in addition to affecting the population residing in the village, it also means that the village does not have the material means to preserve the cultural memory of its collectivity and its regional elements. Therefore, the general objective of this work is to elaborate an architectural draft of a culture and art-education center for the village of Caboclo/PE, which serves both as an economic support to attract tourists to the region and also to serve as support for the population. to sell local products, as well as to be a space that offers educational and professionalizing activities so that Caboclo residents can obtain other sources of income.
