CardBot: tecnologia educacional assistiva para inclusão de deficientes visuais na robótica educacional. 2017. 75f. Tese (Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica e de Computação) - Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2017.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/24135This work proposes new educational assistive technologies to enable the use of educational robotics with people that has visual impairments or low vision. It is known that the methodology of teaching robotics encompasses a set of technologies and techniques required for insertion of methodological procedures such as teaching, hardware, software and programming languages for robots. Through a survey of the scientific production in this field, cases were found and some difficulties to insert this into inclusive schools, of which we highlight two: the high cost of commercial hardware and the lack of accessibility the software for the visually impaired because they are mostly in the English language or infographic. From the collected data, we have proposed to solve these problems creating assistive educational technologies. The first part of the solution is to build a carcass robot according to the paper folding techniques. A plate of motor control will be used as a means of locomotion robots. The second part of the solution includes the programming of robots using cards in different formats. The program uses a cell phone camera to read these cards via QR Codes. Thus, it is possible an integration of visually impaired in social practices, especially those involving the use of new technologies in the social and educational context. The assessment of this proposal will be done through interviews with visually impaired people, conducting workshops using assistive educational technologies proposed, the construction of specific teaching materials and the observations and comparisons with traditional technologies. We intend to apply this assessment on two institutions with fifteen blind, which are the target audience of our research.Acesso AbertoDeficiência visualRobótica educacionalTecnologias educacionais assistivasCardBot: tecnologia educacional assistiva para inclusão de deficientes visuais na robótica educacionaldoctoralThesisCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA ELÉTRICA E DE COMPUTAÇÃO
