The objective of this work is to propose a strategic plan for a non-profit entity, the Association of Supermarkets of Rio Grande do Norte. The methodology used was a case study, based on intensive direct observation and qualitative data analysis. The planning addressed the construction of the company's organizational identity, through the development of its mission, vision and values; in addition, it built its strategic map, defined its objectives, indicators and goal. Important results were delivered such as the organizational diagnosis, organizational identity, objectives within the perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard, as well as its goals and indicators.
