In this work it will be found: literature reviwe on public policy issues, Quilombola Communities. Also, a documentary research in which the documents mainly concerning the policy of regularizating the territories of Quilombola Communities were analyzed. The policy of regularizing the territory of these communities is found in the 68 article of the Transitional Constitutional Provisions Act of the Brazilian Constitution of 1988. However, the main legal dispositive of tht implementation is the Presidential Decree 4.887/2003. The process evaluated has begun in 2006 but is not yet come to an end. Therefore, the contributions written in this study refers to the progress of the process, bringing also an analysis of the role of institutions and the involvement of political actors, the challenges and advances faced in the process, in addition to the perspectives built through the mobilization and associative practices, which involves the community with a vision of transforming the political and social reality based on the regularization of its territory.Acesso AbertoComunidades quilombolaPolíticas públicasImplementação de políticas públicasRegularização de territóriomasterThesis
