Autopercepção de queixas de memória por universitários com diferentes padrões de qualidade do sono. Orientador: Ivonaldo Leidson Barbosa Lima. 2025. 25f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Fonoaudiologia) - Departamento de Fonoaudiologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/61313Purpose: To analyze the differences in self-perceived memory complaints based on different sleep quality patterns among university students. Methods: This is a cross-sectional, analytical field study with a quantitative approach, evaluated and approved by the Ethics Committee under protocol no. 3.918.533. The study population consisted of a sample of 519 students, but data from 414 participants were selected based on eligibility criteria. The participants had an average age of 23 years, with 326 women and 88 men. For data collection, the following instruments were used: the Prospective and Retrospective Memory Questionnaire (PRMQ) to assess memory complaints among university students, and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) to evaluate their sleep quality. Data were tabulated in a digital spreadsheet and analyzed quantitatively using descriptive and inferential statistics via Jamovi software. Results:It was observed that all students reported memory complaints, and those with sleep disorders and poor sleep quality exhibited more complaints, particularly related to short-term memory. The group with good sleep quality reported an average total memory complaint score of 37.52 (±8.96). In contrast, the average score for students with poor sleep quality was 43.63 (±11.11), and for those with sleep disorders, the score was 49.84 (±11.14). Conclusion: There are differences in the number of self-perceived memory complaints among university students based on their sleep quality. Students with poor sleep quality or sleep disorders reported more memory complaints, especially short-term memory issues, compared to those with good sleep qualitySonoMemóriaNeurociênciasEstudantesEducação SuperiorEnsino superiorAutopercepção de queixas de memória por universitários com diferentes padrões de qualidade do sonoPortuguêsInglêsbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FONOAUDIOLOGIA
