The aim is to reflect on how this system has affected each of them and the implications for their lives, especially in the emotional and social spheres. In addition, the punitive content of Brazilian criminal justice and the prison system was also analyzed and criticized. The study was based on interviews with the women themselves, in conjunction with the theories and works studied on the subject.
