Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo) - Departamento de Arquitetura, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/62114This final graduation project proposes the architectural design of a Public Veterinary Hospital for the city of Natal-RN, focusing on animal welfare. The proposal considers specific norms and regulations for animal health facilities, such as Resolution 1275/2019 and the Fear Free Certification, aimed at certifying veterinary hospitals whose architectural decisions promote the reduction of fear and stress in patients. The project includes architectural solutions focused on animal well-being, such as separate and appropriate environments for dogs and cats, minimizing the overlap of species flows, and open spaces to reduce animal stress. The program of requirements was developed to meet the hospital's functional demands, including areas such as reception, consulting rooms, surgical center, and hospitalization spaces. The study explored the importance of a design that fosters efficient interaction between the medical team, patients, and caregivers, creating a welcoming and functional environment.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Hospital veterinário;Projeto de arquitetura;Arquitetura hospitalar veterinária;Bem-estar animal;Certificação Fear Free;Saúde animal.Arquitetura hospitalar: projeto de hospital veterinário centrado no bem-estar animalHospital architecture: veterinary hospital design focused on animal well-beingbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS
