Estudo da adsorção no tratamento de corantes presentes em efluentes têxteis: “uma revisão sistemática das monografias da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte”. 2020. 69f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia Química) - Departamento de Engenharia Química, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/38735The textile industry is the second sector that pollutes the most today, second only to oil exploration. At all stages of production in the textile sector, waste is generated, inherent to the type of industrial process, mostly liquid effluents, which, without due control, have the potential to generate quite severe environmental impacts. The purpose of this course work is to prepare a systematic review of UFRN monographs, prepared by several authors, who developed a study of the process of adsorption of dyes from textile effluents, using different types of materials such as the Sewage Treatment Plant Sludge , Pyrolysis coal from different biomasses (domestic sewage sludge and elephant grass), Cashew Bagasse, commercial Chitosan, Shrimp Shell Chitin and Passionfruit Seed powder. The work was developed according to the methodology proposed by Sampaio and Mancini (2007), which portrays the identification of the database, the search strategy, selection and exclusion criteria, synthesis of information and critical evaluation and conclusion of the articles. Thus, this study emphasized the comparison between the different experimental methodologies used for the adsorption of dyes, characterizations of the adsorbents used, discussions and comparison between the kinetic studies and the adsorption models (Langmuir and Freundlich). Through these models it was found that all adsorbents were favorable to adsorption by the dye. The coal obtained from the pyrolysis of domestic sewage sludge stands out with a higher value of the constant KL, indicating greater affinity adsorbent - adsorbate. In the kinetic study of adsorption, the 1st and 2nd order Pseudo models, greater representativeness in the process was for the adsorbents of the Sludge of the Sewage Treatment Station and the powder of the Passion Fruit Seed impregnated with surfactants.
