The focus was on implementing a pedagogical project on Japanese history for a 2nd-grade elementary school class. This work aims to reflect on pedagogical practices and the adaptation of content to meet students' needs and interests, aligning with theoretical assumptions discussed in Maria Auxiliadora Moreira dos Santos Schmidt’s (2014) articles on historical culture and historical learning.
