Orientador: Kleiber Lima de Bessa. 2023. 48f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia Mecânica) - Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2023https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/53786Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is a surgical connection between artery and vein performed in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) who need to undergo hemodialysis sessions. Adverse conditions caused by hemodynamic behavior in blood vessels end up hindering the success of treatment. Computational methods, such as analysis through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) are performed in order to understand the flow behavior in the region and maximize the success rate in understanding the parameters that influence the emergence of adversities. There is a comparison of the results with the in vitro study in order to validate and understand the internal flow of blood, mainly in regions of change of flow direction. Velocity, pressure and shear stress data are collected through the simulation for comparison purposes with the in vitro study. A similar behavior of the results is observed in both analyses, highlighting the importance of academic validation. It is possible to resolve the errors present in the study in order to obtain more satisfactory and accurate results.Attribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Fístula arteriovenosaDinâmica dos fluidos computacionalHemodinâmicaArteriovenous fistulaComputational fluid dynamicsHemodynamicAnálise comparativa de fluxo através de fístula arteriovenosa in vitro e in silicoComparative analysis of flow through arteriovenous fistula in vitro and in silicobachelorThesisCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA MECANICA::FENOMENOS DE TRANSPORTE::MECANICA DOS FLUIDOS
