Orientador: Jonas Sâmi Albuquerque de Oliveira. 2023. 150f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Enfermagem) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/52071Self-inflicted violence is characterized by acts of violence against one's own self, which can be classified as self-harm, suicidal ideation, attempted suicide, or suicide. It corresponds to the third leading cause of death among adolescents in the world and in the Brazilian reality, observed in the growth of these cases. In this sense, it becomes essential to map two factors associated with self-inflicted violence in Brazil, as well as the development of emotional strategies to deal with situations of self-inflicted violence in adolescents, with the aim of contributing to the formulation of specific policies for care from the public and family. This study has as a general objective to analyze the factors associated with self-inflicted violence in adolescents and to discover the strategies, programs and interventions aimed at the emotional care of adolescents and the family, and that health professionals help the emotional care of this public. It is a descriptive-exploratory study, composed of quantitative data and a scope review. The quantitative data were collected from the data of the Sistema de Agravos de Notificação for the identification of two factors associated with self-inflicted violence in adolescents, considering the data from 2009 to 2021 from Brazil. The data are submitted to descriptive and inferential analysis, according to the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences with a 5% level of significance. The scope review was collected using the methodological proposal, proposed by the Manual of the Joanna Briggs Institute and following the recommendations of PRISMAScR. To assist in the analysis of the two studies, the Intelligent Systematic Review software was used, later with the help of Power Point the data were organized for the review analysis. The study was appreciated and approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte under opinion no. 5,521,288. From the quantitative analysis, a 27.39% prevalence of self-inflicted violence in adolescents was identified, and associated with risk factors: race/ indigenous color (RP=1.02), brown (RP=1.02) and black (RP=1.03); illiterate schooling (RP=1.06), 1st to 4th incomplete series of fundamental education (RP=1.07), 4th complete series of fundamental education (RP=1.05), and 5th to 8th incomplete series of fundamental education ( PR=1.02); method: body force/espancamento (RP=1.03) and firearm (RP=1.05); The repetition of this was the same for adolescents who practiced and those who did not practice self-inflicted violence (PR=1.00); use of alcohol (1.03); region: north (RP=1.08) and northeast (1.01); place of occurrence: bar or similar (RP=1.01) and public street (RP=1.01); and evolution: discharge (PR=1.17), evasion or escape (PR=1.17), death by violence (PR=1.12). Most of the strategies, programs and interventions aimed at the emotional care of the adolescent and the family, and that we help health professionals in the emotional care of the public, form therapies and trainings, have not been identified strategies, programs and interventions in Brazil. The study allowed the prevalence of self-inflicted violence notifications in adolescents and the associated factors in Brazil, as well as the identification of strategies, programs and interventions developed in various countries.Acesso AbertoAdolescenteComportamento autodestrutivoSuicídioIdeação suicidaAnálise da violência autoprovocada em adolescentes na sociedade atualAnalysis of self-promoted violence in adolescents in current societymasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEM
