Maise was a great human rights activist and exponent of the Potiguar audiovisual. Her recordings explored the lives impacted by the military dictatorship of 1964, strikes and popular stoppages of workers, teachers and other professionals, as well as political rallies, the daily life of residents of popular communities and neighborhoods.
