Derives from the infocomunicacional mediation, since it is related to the processes that make up the infocomunicacional stream, since the production until the ownership of the information. Whereas information workers, computers and their users to informational environments are mediators, the influence of their actions on information findability mediators. In order to understand how the mediation infocomunicacional practiced by these mediators can influence the findability of information in informational environments, bibliographic searches were carried out, descriptive and documentary, with a qualitative approach, which enabled a discussion between the concepts studied, making it possible to perform theauto archive process analysis in the institutional repository of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. From the observation technique have been mapped the actions practiced by different mediators in that environment, based on the dimensions top-down and bottom-up model of Findability of information (MEI).
