This study aims to evaluate the removal of organic compounds dissolved in produced water by using Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs). The experimental results showed that the Electro-Fenton process (PE) shown to be more efficient than the anodic oxidation process. It showed a higher rate of removal of organic compounds and consequently a higher degradative power of BTXs in 4 min, while in conventional anodic oxidation with a boron doped diamond anode (BDD), it was passed about 60 min. It was shown that the EF quickly removes BTXs, but the same does not occur with the TOC of the solution, and the anodic oxidation with DDB is most effective. Finally, the AOPs proved to be considered alternative for the treatment of oil industry effluents, as well as having a low cost, it is also an environmentally clean technology, generating few or no residue during its application.openAccessProcessos Oxidativos Avançados.BTXs.água produzida.Eletro-fenton.oxidação anódica.Efluentes.Anodic Oxidation.TOC.Advanced oxidation processesProduced water.Comparação entre oxidação anódica e eletro-fenton no tratamento de efluentes contendo BTXsbachelorThesisQuímica
