Today, more than ever, is a crucial moment that requires careful attention from families and teachers. This process involves a conscious choice on the part of families, who seek institutions that respect and value the particularities and needs of each child. The objective of this work is to explore how school adaptation becomes a process of integral development, based on modern pedagogical approaches such as Reggio Emilia, influenced by educators such as Loris Malaguzzi and collaborators, and by socio-interactionist theory, based on the concepts of Lev Vygotsky .To achieve this objective, the methodology adopted includes qualitative research based on direct observations in the classroom and semi-structured interviews with teachers and parents. Observation allows you to capture children's daily interactions during the adaptation process, while interviews provide insights into the perceptions of the adults involved. Furthermore, the analysis of pedagogical documents and lesson plans complements the understanding of the strategies applied by educational institutions. Adaptation is approached not just as an initial step, but as an ongoing and dynamic phase that must respect and respond to children's individual emotions and rhythms.Essential aspects for successful adaptation will be discussed, including the importance of welcoming environments, the role of families and the impact of pedagogical strategies such as the use of learning workshops.
