This paper innovates by trying to fill this gap. The objective os the presente paper is to analyze the relationship between school performance and the violence observed in the residential surroundings of the students from the IFRN Campus Natal Central and Zona Norte. To achieve this objective, two panel georeferenced databases will be used, which will allow tracing the profile of IFRN students and mapping violence in the city of Natal/RN. Finally, fixed effect and probit models will be used.
