Objectives: To describe the epidemiological profile of patients hospitalized for burns caused by alcohol. Methods: This is a bibliographical, secondary and descriptive review. The study population consisted of hospitalizations due to burns, considering the variables of this study: sex and age group. The data obtained was organized and analyzed and presented in a descriptive way. Results: A prevalence of males was observed in the number of hospitalizations in the studies. The most prevalent age groups were children aged one to four years and adults aged 18 to 50 years. And as for the etiological agent, the predominance was flammable substances, with alcohol in liquid form having the highest incidence.
