Pirataria no ensino superior: análise das percepções dos estudantes de Biblioteconomia na UFRN e exploração de alternativas legais para acesso à literatura. Orientador: José Domingos Padilha Neto. 2023. 64 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Biblioteconomia) - Centro de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/56687The study explores the growth of illegal information sharing networks on the World Wide Web, focusing on access to literature and the views of students in the Library Science course at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) on this topic. Through a literature review, concepts of copyright, copyright, piracy, and literary piracy are described. In addition, the social problems related to piracy are elucidated, assessing the perception of undergraduate students in library science about the practice of illegal sharing of literary and scientific materials. The study also suggests viable legal alternatives to solve the problem in a practical way. A survey is conducted with the help of Google Forms to understand the view of a portion of the students on piracy in the literary environment. The survey results reveal that students resort to piracy to access both common and scientific literature, motivated by the ease of recovery and the high cost associated with the consumption of literature in general. This highlights how the habit of reading continues to be a challenge for most of society over the years.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/piratariapirataria literáriacompartilhamento ilegalliteratura digitalPirataria no ensino superior: análise das percepções dos estudantes de Biblioteconomia na UFRN e exploração de alternativas legais para acesso à literaturaPiracy in higher education: analysis of the perceptions of Library Science students at UFRN and exploration of legal alternatives for access to literaturebachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::CIENCIA DA INFORMACAO::BIBLIOTECONOMIA
