In this contexto, cordel literature, as a way of linking information and as na accessible language instrument, fosters a dynamic that reflects this relationship. So, the aim of this research is to rescue and catalog cordels from the Djalma Mota cordel library at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Caicó campus, whose themes cover health issues in order to cfreate a tool that facilitates access to this literature for health promotion activities as well as making this topic more relevant.
