Therefore, this study has focused on examining the factors that directly influence workers to choose informal employment, with specific focus on the city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. Interviews were conducted with 40 workers from the construction sector, encompassing various profiles and ages, aiming to gather data to identify the factors that lead these workers to informal employment, even when formal jobs opportunities are available.
