Flowable composite has proven to be an excellent sealing agent compared to other resin sealants regarding material retention and caries recurrence in the sealing of non-cavitated lesions in permanent teeth. Additionally, it has demonstrated effectiveness in sealing cavitated lesions involving dentin; however, documentation of such cases is limited to primary teeth. Therefore, this study aims to report a clinical case of therapeutic sealing of an incipient caries lesion extending to the outer third of dentin in a permanent molar using flowable composite, considering the International Caries Detection and Assessment System – ICDAS II. A 28-year-old female patient presented with an occlusal caries lesion classified as code 4 according to ICDAS II on tooth 48. Following radiographic examination, therapeutic sealing was performed using Tetric N-Flow flowable composite and Single Bond Convencional Adhesive. Follow-up evaluations were conducted at one and six months post-treatment.
