For such management, it is necessary to reconcile preventive actions and corrective actions, when its necessary. In this work, a survey and analysis of the maintenance history, for prevention and correction, of multiparametric monitors, set in a public maternity hospital in the city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, was carried out. The equipment chosen is categorized as electromedical, helps in diagnostics and has action in multiple services offered by the establishment, with functionalities that cover both the adult public and the neonatal public. To keep the monitors in full operation, the analysis of the maintenance history, which covers the period from January 2019 to March 2022, evaluates the Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, Electrical Safety and Corrective Maintenance Service Orders, seeking correlations between actions, intervals between events and their causes. Therefore, it is possible to have an overview of the assiduity, assertiveness and effectiveness of preventive actions in recent years, in addition to investigating the justifications for corrective actions that were necessary.
