We sought to inform and promote debate on the topic. Methodologically, for its preparation, scientific articles, websites and books that address the topic of video games, history and memory were consulted. In addition, three witnesses were interviewed to support the work: one addressing the national collecting scene and the other focused on the state of Rio Grande do Norte, with an emphasis on the Rio Grande do Norte Video Game Museum.
