The contextualization of the theme was developed, starting from the housing problem in a broader sense, when contemplating aspects of the whole country, to, from there, reach the specific place, an urban void located in the municipality of Natal, in Rio Grande do Norte, where the set will be implanted, considering the number of properties already belonging to the State Government in a state of disuse, in contrast to the Brazilian housing deficit, which has become increasingly a major social problem. The theoretical framework of the work aims to understand, based on data and research, the process of urbanization of the city, as well as the main needs of the population.
