Likewise, in the Science and Technology Undergraduate Program, it is the responsibility of the institution to have a mandatory curriculum to be fulfilled. However, there are also complementary activities, not included in the course's curriculum, which are of great value in the teaching/learning process, such as non-compulsory internships, which are practical opportunities to acquire experience. In this sense, the objective of this work was to report a non-mandatory internship of the Science and Technology Undergraduate Program at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, experienced by the student author of this work. The internship covered the software development area and was linked to the company Logique Sistemas, in Natal, RN, Brazil.
