This decompensated disease contributes to the appearance of aggravations such as retinopathy, nephropathy and neuropathy. The present study aims to verify the main causes of the worsening of diabetes in insulin patients of PROSUS (Program of distribution of medicines and supplies to users), which are the most prevalent diseases in these patients, some daily habits such as: physical activity, adherence to diet, difficulties in accessing the prescriber, problems such as lack of special insulin supply, age of patients, gender and prescriber tendencies. Through a questionnaire, a descriptive non-probabilistic convenience survey, consisting of 62 individuals, was applied. Using the questionnaire, it was possible to measure important parameters that affect habits and the most prevalent diseases in patients who met the inclusion criteria of PROSUS. Thus, it is concluded that the previous diagnosis of diabetes can be determinant to prevent aggravation of this disease, as well as providing a better quality of life to patients.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/PROSUSAgravamento do diabetesAssistência farmacêuticaWorsening diabetesPharmaceutical careAgravos do diabetes em pacientes insulinizados do PROSUSbachelorThesis
