Relação da suplementação nutricional na cicatrização de lesão por pressão: uma revisão integrativa. Orientadora: Lúcia Leite Lais. 2025. 31f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Nutrição) - Departamento de Nutrição, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/63703This work is an integrative review aimed at investigating the relationship between nutritional supplementation and the healing of pressure injuries (PI). The assessment of nutritional status and monitoring of food intake constitute part of the preventive and curative treatment of PI, helping to maintain and/or recover nutritional status, as well as assisting in the tissue healing process. The research was conducted from October to December 2024, with searches for records carried out in the PubMed/MEDLINE database. The included articles were published between 2014 and 2024. The studies demonstrated improvements in the reduction of affected area and tissue viability following interventions with nutritional supplementation. Only one study did not show a positive result. The supplements used in the studies contained arginine, proline, vitamins A, C, and E, zinc, selenium, whey protein isolate rich in cysteine/cystine, β-hydroxy β-methylbutyrate (HMB), and glutamine. However, further studies are needed to increase sample sizes, standardize supplement doses, and define the duration of research.pt-BRAttribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Úcera por pressãoCicatrização de feridasSuplementos nutricionaisRelação da suplementação nutricional na cicatrização de lesão por pressão: uma revisão integrativabachelorThesis
