Method: This study is a descriptive research conducted through a bibliometric review of scientific literature in several stages, including the selection of the guiding question, article search, data collection, analysis of selected articles based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and discussion of results. Data collection occurred between August and October 2023 and was organized into a matrix containing elements such as authors, indexed database, journal, title, year, nature of the study, objectives, and main results. Results: A total of 104 publications were located in the two selected databases (Lilacs) and (Scielo). Among these, 79 were found in the Lilacs database, and 25 in the Scielo database. Consequently, this review identified a total of 28 articles that met the outlined objectives and inclusion criteria, quantitatively representing 27% of the initial total sample from both databases. The majority of the works focus on the areas of Policy, Planning, and Health Management with 82% (n=23), followed by Epidemiology, and Social Sciences and Humanities in Health, with 11% (n=3) and 7% (n=2), respectively. Conclusion: The interconnectedness of Policy, Planning, and Health Management, Epidemiology, and Social Sciences and Humanities in Health is crucial for comprehensively and effectively addressing the challenges in this field.
