Construção de um protocolo de processamento de produtos para saúde de videocirurgias ginecológicas. Orientadora: Dra. Cleonice Andréa Alves Cavalcante. 2025. 116f. Commonly reusable, these devices present specific characteristics such as miniaturization, the presence of valves, narrow lumens, recesses, and optical and electronic components, which make them vulnerable to processing failures and increase the risk to patient safety. Although manufacturers provide instruction manuals, the guidelines are often insufficient, imprecise, or contradictory in relation to sanitary regulations and established best practices. Thus, the need for a reliable, safe, and scientifically grounded technical-technological product focused on the processing of items used in hysteroscopies and gynecological videolaparoscopies justifies the present study. The objective of this research was to develop a protocol for the processing of health products used in gynecological videosurgeries for the Central Sterile Supply Department of the Januário Cicco Maternity School. This is a methodological study conducted in two stages: an integrative literature review and the construction of the protocol, grounded in the Knowledge Translation Theory. The development of the technical-technological product followed the guidelines of the Nursing Clinical Protocol Construction Manual of the Regional Nursing Council of São Paulo and the operational standard for the development and control of institutional documents of the Brazilian Company of Hospital Services (EBSERH). The first stage involved an integrative review, which enabled the peer-defined selection of essential protocol content through the analysis of 17 scientific studies retrieved from the selected databases, organized into seven thematic categories: precleaning, receiving, cleaning, preparation, sterilization, storage, transport, and quality control. The second stage consisted of the actual structuring of the protocol, in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations, current sanitary legislation, and the service’s technicaloperational standards. The resulting protocol constitutes a strategic tool aimed at standardizing and improving reprocessing practices in the CSSD of the Januário Cicco Maternity School Hospital. Its implementation is expected to contribute to patient safety, reduce the risk of incidents and adverse events, promote the rational use of resources, and strengthen continuing education for the team—thus fulfilling a relevant technical and social role in minimally invasive gynecological care.pt-BRAcesso AbertoCentro de esterilizaçãoProtocolos clínicosGinecologiaLaparoscopiaEnfermagemConstrução de um protocolo de processamento de produtos para saúde de videocirurgias ginecológicasmasterThesisCIENCIAS DA SAUDE
