Based on an assumption of a governmental and ecclesial political process in which different groups use distinct strategies in support of the production and distribution of a symbolic capital, in that experts of the sacred, lays and political reps tap a belief, and the its practices, to strengthen power structures in different specific areas of acting. This work used the qualitative methodology, postulated by the historical and bibliographic documents concerned about the studies of religious tourism. The phenomenological approach was privileged, using half structuralized interviews which were performed with governmental, religious reps and residents.
