Because of the social transformations in the last decades, the teacher’s function has increased, and they saw themselves obligated to carry out more complex roles to act in the schools. This monograph discuss the subject of teacher training in music, developed through the survey and reflections about some benchmarks that guide research on teacher training in music education and various authors who talk about this topic.
