Análise da concessão de aparelhos de amplificação sonora individual pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (2005-2018). 2020. 85f. In Brazil, the HA is provided free of cost by Unified Health System (SUS). Over time, the provision of HA by SUS and user satisfaction with this device can pose substantial challenges in hearing health care. Purpose: To analyze the outpatient production of aspects of the HA concession by SUS between 2005 and 2018. Methods: The study was structured in two stages: (1) Integrative literature review carried out in four databases, selecting articles published since 2004 that involved individuals adapted with HA conceded by SUS; (2) Ecological study based on data from the Outpatient Information System of the SUS and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics. The HA concession fees were analyzed using Joinpoint program. Descriptive analyzes were performed for self-reported hearing loss, technological categories, financing and replacement of HA and audiological monitoring. Results: In the review, 24 studies were included, published since 2007 and concentrated in the Southeast region, with a predominance of the quantitative approach and limited samples comprising adults and the elderly. Self-assessment questionnaires were the resources used to assess user satisfaction. In the ecological study, the North (3.20/10.000 inhabitants) and South (9.96/10.000 inhabitants) regions recorded the lowest and highest average rates, respectively. There were significant upward and downward trends in the HA concession. In 2010, the Southeast region concentrated the percentages of self-reported hearing loss and HA concession. In the country, the HA concession by technological categories was A (39.26%), B (36.93%) and C (23.81%), increasing financing. The Midwest region (24.78%) showed the highest proportion of HA replacement, while audiological monitoring predominated in the Southeast region (45.88%). Conclusions: Most users showed high satisfaction with the HA conceded by SUS, despite the fact that social, economic and methodological factors permeate the process. In the period from 2005 to 2018, the analysis of the HA concession by SUS illustrated changing aspects in outpatient production, highlighting discrepancies between Brazilian geographic regions.
