It is an intracratonic basin whose structural configuration reflects the reactivation of Precambrian structures during the Mesozoic rifting. The adopted methodology was based on the integration of geological data with publicly available, pre-processed aerogeophysical data used to interpret Bouguer anomaly, Reduction to the Pole (RTP), and Analytic Signal Amplitude (ASA) maps. The gravity analysis, through Bouguer anomalies, enabled the identification of density contrasts between the crystalline basement and Phanerozoic sediments, highlighting subsidence zones controlled by deep crustal faults. This approach also revealed the presence of structural blocks and deep lineaments, essential for refining the tectonic framework of the basin. In parallel, magnetometric data from RTP and ASA maps highlighted anomalies of high magnetic susceptibility associated with igneous intrusions and deep crustal features, in addition to assisting in the delineation and continuity of regional shear zones.
