Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Educação Física Licenciatura), Departamento de Educação Física, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/52680This work sought to answer the question “Can parallels be drawn between school and school Physical Education, and some element of school life in fantasy books?” through the analysis of four sagas of fantastic literature (Harry Potter, The School of Good and Evil, School of Villains, Conjurer) and comparing the schools of these universes with the academic concept of school, the specifications of the Base Nacional Comum Curricular, Brazilian guideline for school organization, and also comparing with the school experiences of the author of this work. Thus, the work aimed to point out possible parallels and thus indicate cases in which fantastic literature would word as a viable educational resource in the real world. By making these comparisons, it was possible to find both similarities and differences between fantasy and real-world schools, both in their structure and in the classes taught, leading to interesting analyzes of how schools and movement culture are seen and treated in fantastic literature. These parallels and relationships found were analyzed because literature is a form of media, and thus a vehicle of ideas and information that reach students and the general population.
