Method: the study was a comparative analysis based on literary review of others published studies and the standards analytical parameters. Results: it was identified eight relevant parameters in certification standard update, OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018. They relates to the use of Annex “SL”, participation of active leadership and coworkers, update on organization context and risk management, and measures on communication, support and operational control that happens to be important to occupational safety and health management system implementation and maintenance by ISO standard.
