The farm is specialized in the cultivation of marine shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei, also known as gray shrimp, has a nursery system with three tanks and nineteen growth tanks. During the period, tasks related to shrimp farming were carried out, such as feeding, post-larvae biometry, supplementation with prebiotics, reception of post-larvae, harvesting for the nurseries, maintenance and cleaning of the nursery tanks. The internship was supervised by Engineer José Américo Cabral and guided by Professor David Araújo Borges.
