Análise de Injeção Alternada de Água e CO2 (WAG-CO2) em reservatórios semelhantes aos do pré-sal brasileiro. 2017.2 f. TCC (Graduação) - Curso de Engenharia de Petróleo, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, Brasil, 2017.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/39453The alternating injection of water and carbon dioxide (WAG-CO2) enhanced oil recovery method utilizes the injection of water and gas, normally miscible to improve production and oil recovery factor. With the discovery of reservoirs in Brazilian pre-salt layer with large reserves of light oil volumes (between 28 and 30 ° API), a high volume of gas and containing high CO2 content (8 - 12%), this gas has stood out. This is a challenge for sustainable production, given that it is a greenhouse gas. This study aimed to analyze the WAG-CO2 method compared to the injection of water and the injection of CO2 miscible. The simulation for different models was made through the GEM (Generalized Equation-of-State Model Compositional Reservoir Simulator) CMG (Computer Modeling Group) in computational simulation, modeling a lighter fluid and a reservoir with characteristics similar to Brazilian pre -salt, then different models of injection were simulated changing and adjusting operating parameters such as flow injection, number of wells, order of injection. The results provided a broad view of the behavior of this method and its influence on the oil recovery factor, which showed an increase of approximately eighty percentage points.openAccessReservatório, simulação numérica, injeção de CO2, injeção de água, pré-sal brasileiro, injeção alternada de água e gás (WAG).Reservoir, numerical simulation, CO2 flooding, water flooding, Brazilian Pré-sal, alternating injection of water and gas WAG.Análise de injeção alternada de água e CO2 (WAG-CO2) em reservatórios semelhantes aos do pré-sal brasileirobachelorThesis
