Researching the historiography of miss contests, the characteristics of Potiguares Gems that symbolize female beauty, as well as the biography of the two inspiring misses for the project. The methodology applied is partly descriptive / exploratory and partly intended for implementation. The descriptive process aims to identify, record and analyze the characteristics, factors or variables that relate to the phenomenon or process. The exploratory, establishes criteria, methods and techniques for the elaboration of a research and aims to offer information about its object and guide the formulation of hypotheses. However, for the execution of design projects, auxiliary tools are needed to connect the information obtained from the descriptive and exploratory techniques and through them to be able to propose solutions or develop configurations. Such techniques are associated with more applicable methodologies designed to perform tasks, analyzes and processes. The technique of Graphic Decoding will also be used. Experimental creative process guidance tool, which allows you to transform verbal and nonverbal elements into graphic codes by exploring their creative potentialities in order to generate new codes or elements.
