Análise geométrica das soluções da deconvolução de Euler do tensor gradiente gravimétrico: aplicação na Bacia Potiguar. Orientador: Renato Ramos da Silva Dantas. 2024. 37 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Geofísica) - Departamento de Geofísica, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/59792In this work, the Euler deconvolution method was applied to gradiometric data to investigate the structural framework of an area located in the Potiguar Basin, Northeast Brazil.Gravimetric gradiometry consists of determining the variations of components of the gravitational field in one or more directions. Initially, Euler deconvolution was applied to the gradiometric data available for the study area, seeking to determine the spatial distribution and depth of the structures present in the basin, under the hypothesis that the Euler solutions obtained for the area correspond to fault planes. The results of Euler Deconvolution applied to the gravity gradient tensor (TGG) data proved to be effective in identifying geological structures and estimating their positions, identifying local relative structural highs and lows, possibly associated with variations in sedimentary thickness, in the context between the Alto de Quixaba and the Baixa Grande Fault, in which the Umbuzeiro Graben is located, a region approximately 30 km south of Mossoró, covering an area of approximately 176.977 km^2. The results of this research can contribute to a better identification of the structuring of the Potiguar Basin through the application of 3D Euler Deconvolution, and, consequently, to the exploration of oil and gas in the context of the Umbuzeiro Graben.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Bacia PotiguarDeconvolução de EulerGradiometria GravimétricaTensor do Gradiente Gravimétrico (TGG)Potiguar BasinEuler DeconvolutionGravimetric GradiometryGravimetric Gradient Tensor (TGG).Análise geométrica das soluções da deconvolução de Euler do tensor gradiente gravimétrico: aplicação na Bacia PotiguarbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA
